As women, we don’t have to be ashamed of our veins. In fact, varicose veins are such a common condition that 50% of women have them.
If you have varicose veins and you don’t want to go through the hassle of surgery, then there’s good news for you! Vasculera® is a revolutionary new treatment for those with chronic venous insufficiency or varicose veins.
At Alabama Vein & Restoration MedSpa, Dr. Charles Hunt II and his team are dedicated to your cosmetic and healthcare needs. That’s why we’re proud to offer you a prescription medication that zaps your varicose veins right off.
How does Vasculera work?
Vasculera works by changing your biochemical pathways that may lead to varicose veins, edema, venous ulcers, spider veins, and stasis dermatitis. The primary ingredient, Diosmin, is a flavonoid found in citrus fruits, that works to prevent inflammatory damage in your wein walls.
For chronic bulging veins we recommend taking one tablet three times a day for four days, then one tablet twice a day for nine days, followed by a maintenance tablet once a day.
For hemorrhoidal flares, we recommend taking one tablet three times a day for four days, then one tablet twice a day for nine days. Benefits can appear as soon as one week into treatment, but you won’t see the full effects for four to eight weeks.
If you skip a dose of Vasculera, you’ll want to take the dose as soon as you remember, unless it’s the time of your next scheduled dose, in which case you should skip the missed dose and just take your next scheduled dose.
Precautions and warnings
You shouldn’t use this medication if you have ever had cancer. You may also have an allergy to the medication and should not use it in that case, either. You’ll also want to avoid it if you have an allergy to povidone, cellulose, or corn products.
You’ll want to follow Dr. Hunt’s instructions for taking the medication, and avoid taking larger or smaller amounts than what he recommends. Vasculera is also not recommended for pregnant women or those who want to become pregnant.
We don’t know if Vasculera is passed on through the breast milk or if it can harm a nursing baby. So, it’s not recommended that you take it if you are nursing.
You’ll want to seek medical attention right away if you notice that you have signs of an allergic reaction, like hives, difficulty breathing, or any swelling in your face, lips, tongue or throat.
If you’re ready for smooth, veinless legs without the hassle of an operation or an invasive medical procedure, then Vasculera could be the perfect medication for you. Call us or make an appointment right on our website today.
